About Us
American Field Press makes room for stories from across the United States. We follow the people, places and ideas that can get lost behind a short headline, bringing individual communities into a wider American picture.
Our coverage
This publication is configured for reporting from across the United States. Our current collection includes local coverage from the shared editorial library; each story keeps its real location and original context. A national scope does not mean that every state is represented in the current edition.
Reading the edition
The front page presents selected published stories. Latest follows publication dates, Explore organizes available subjects and formats, and Contributors collects work by credited author. News, opinion, obituaries and announcements have distinct labels. Public reading does not require an account.
Editorial responsibility
Read our Editorial Policy and Corrections pages for how we approach accuracy, sources and updates. Publication details and contact availability are listed separately on Contact.
